We are all just pawns in life's game of chess

Hey guys, We have had some visitors this past week and we hardly ever have guests on the island, and we like to keep it like that. To everyone's surprise it was Alonso, Sebastian, and Antonio. They had actually accepted the request from Prospero for them to come visit. It started by the three men who appeared to be shaking in fear apologizing for all that they had done. I became a constant voice in Prospero's ear telling him to go home. I whispered how he should release Ariel and Caliban. I reminded him of the happiness he felt with his daughter and that he should spare my son. With the help of my convincing words Prospero decided to throw his books of magic in the ocean and he broke his staff. He had been willing to give up all his power. He then broke down all that had happened in he and Miranda’s life because of their actions. Alonso was distraught for all that he had done and he felt a since of responsibility for the death of his dear son. It was then that Prospero revealed both Ferdinand and Miranda playing a game of chess. Alonso leapt with joy for he thought he had lost his son forever. All seemed to be right with the world in the very moment and the whole group packed up a few things and set off back to Naples the next morning. This is the last I heard from the group, but I truly believe that the wedding between Miranda and Ferdinand will be grand and that they will be able to grow old and happy together all because of the game of chess we call life. I am so excited for these two, but I am even more excited that everything will be going back to normal.
